Why are we so serious about safety? "We're trained to be that way!" As
former US Army officers we were trusted with huge responsibilities, large
amounts of personnel, and millions of dollars of equipment. Our
experience implementing safety measures comes from our extensive US Army
training. Take our word for it that when you have to move 60 people
and over 20 vehicles with weapons, ammunition, and explosives all in the
right direction and then get them to shoot in the right direction, there has
to be a lot of safety measures to make sure this is done properly, timely,
and most of all Safely. The US Army is very serious about safety.
No training event or any kind of function happens without a careful
evaluation of safety, a safety plan created, and safety measures implemented
to ensure everyone is safe. We couldn't even have a party without a
careful safety evaluation and safety plan implemented. You can be confident that this camp has
received the same attention to detail.
FAQs:
(Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: How do you plan to make this camp safe?
A: Every step of this camp from start to finish has been evaluated
for safety. If something is not safe, we'll make it safe through
several control measures. If we can't make it safe, we won't do it.
It's just that simple!
Q: How can I be sure that my child will be safe?
A: An abundant amount of experience dealing with children and
planning successful and safe training has gone into planning this camp.
You can be sure that your child will be well looked after and there will be
no time where he/she is not watched carefully.
Q: My child can't swim. How will they be safe in the water?
A: Each child will be questioned and tested for swimming ability.
As well, no child is permitted to swim without a life vest in water that is
over their head. All children who ride the banana boat or go
snorkeling will be required to wear a life vest. Equally important, we
will only allow the use of floatable devices such as rafts, tubes, ect. at
this camp if they are anchored to the beach. These devices are often
responsible for accidents when children who can't swim well float into water
over their head and then become separated from the floatable device.
As well, a lifeguard will be watching the children any time they are in the
water.
Q: I don't want my child to be in the water, what should I do?
A: Every parent must sign a waiver of release that they will allow
their child to play in the water. If you don't want them in the water,
then just don't sign the form and express that you don't want your child in
the water and we will make sure your child doesn't go swimming or
snorkeling. We have other activities planned for children who are not
allowed in the water.
Q: My child has a medical problem. Can he/she attend the camp and
will he/she be properly cared for?
A: Any students with medical
or mental problems will be accepted one by one.
We can attend to certain needs but not all services can be provided.
Please know the English name of your child's medical problem and what part
of the body it affects as John, our American director will be the one giving
permission for your child to attend.
Q: Is the the transportation safe?
A: Yes, all vehicles
are chosen by Ajarn john. He makes sure that every private vehicle is
well maintained and safe before students ride in it.
Q: Is there security?
A: Depending on
the size of the group for the camp we will have an appropriate amount of
security. 24 hour security at our accommodation is always provided and
is very professional. Security during transportation is provided when
needed. Usually only large groups require police security during
transportation.
Q: I have more questions about safety, who can I talk to?

call us, or leave a message with our secretary for ajarn John our director.
